Welcome Back! Its going to be a great year!

The Clinton Massie PTO extends a warm welcome to our new families, and a “Welcome Back” to all returning for the 2015-2016 school year.

As a parent/guardian of a Massie student, you are an honorary member of the PTO.  We encourage you to become involved.

Our PTO funds and sponsors numerous class trips, art and enrichment programs, as well as improvements to our school.  This is done through a variety of in school fundraisers, book fairs and magazine sales.

As you know, it takes a village to raise a child.  We need your support of these programs and activities.  Working TOGETHER, we CAN make a difference at the school and in the lives of our children.

How You Can Help:
1.      Volunteer in your child’s classroom and/or on one of  the PTO committee’s
2.      Attend PTO general meetings, connect via the school website and like us on FaceBook (Clinton-Massie Elementary PTO) to stay informed
3.      Support PTO sponsored fundraisers
4.      Participate in PTO activities with your child

Your involvement with the PTO will benefit everyone, but the greatest reward is seeing the smile on your child’s face when you are involved in his/her world!

Please join us in making this a successful year.

         Be The Change, Be Involved

The PTO has purchased the KeepnTrack Security system for our school. We are excited to offer this extra security to our students during the school day. Please understand that you will need to bring in your state ID or Driver’s License to get into the school to volunteer or visit. There will be different levels of security integrated into the system based on whether you are a regular volunteer or just visiting for lunch or a class party. Background checks will be able to be completed through this system for our regular volunteers and fieldtrip chaperones. Please understand that this system has been put in place for the sole reason of keeping our students as safe as possible. The software has been delivered and specific staff members will be required to get trained on the software before we fully implement it in late March. More information will be sent home once the system is in place and ready to be used.
